RECOMMEND REFUSAL

Following review of the application, Marhamchurch Parish Council recommends refusal based on the following points:

1. The size of the plot is very small and the building is not of a suitable scale.
2. The building is only a metre from the road side and is also not in keeping with the rest of the properties on this side of the road which are all bungalows and which are set well back from the road.
3. The property would also create a " Pinch" effect in the road where the road visibility needs to be kept at a maximum.
4. Other properties nearby would be affected by loss of light .
